I much preferred the team specific ap. It was much easier to get the info and updates I wanted. Dont care to subscribe and watch on my phone. Seems lots of fake reviews for 5 stars. Big step backwards on this one.

Just wish I could watch my local team

This app has everything that I want from an NHL app. It gives me up-to-date news, scores, and information. The one suggestion I would include to make this app even better would be to show the final 2 minutes of each game for live TV, rather than a random 2-minute slot. Sometimes I will get a notification saying to watch the Blackhawks in the 1st Period @ 12:30, or one for the Washington Capitals in the 2nd Period @ 5:20. If the NHL app could change it to being the final 2 minutes of each game, that would be awesome! There is more excitement and purposeful gameplay in the final two minutes of any NHL game, in my opinion. Overall, its great and serves its purpose.

Compared to the caps mobile app boo NHL for taking away a great app for this thing that does not give proper notifications does not do 1/2 of what the caps mobile app did

Ive been watching on my second-generation iPad for years but within the past month this app crashes every time I try to watch a game or highlights. I paid $131 for a full season and now I cant watch. What the hell is going on with the latest version?

This a terrible and frustrating- somebody please do something! For this garbage I had to give up my Rangers app? A disaster! Freezes, crashes, so frustrated with this app. Doesnt even deserve one star. I dont believe the positive reviews - absolutely can not be!

This app is so slow now, it ridiculous. Change to a new tab I. The menu? Be prepared to wait forever for it to allow you to do anything else, it just freezes while it catches up to you. Its unacceptably slow considering I lost my individual team app and have to resort to using this.

Premium is too expensive. But, over all it is a pretty good app.

Notifications dont work at all

Love the app. Its great. But when they send a score update its SO freaking hard to read. If there was a way they could include color in the font or something to make it easier to read that would be great.

Quit asking if I want to "watch". I just want the scores during the game. I appreciate the goal horn but your opponent goal sound and the repeating "watch" alert makes the same annoying sound. Everything else is good.

I have never written a review for an app before but this one is so bad that I had to. They update this app every few months and it just gets more and more terrible. First, the layout was awful and now it cant be open for thirty seconds without crashing. This app is literally as useless as Bettman. Its like the commissioner became an app and has progressively gotten more and more aggravating. Seriously, just download ESPN for scores and get our news from NHLs Twitter. This app is almost as angering as the 2005 draft...almost...

Since the last update, the app has been really slow to open and load. The scores and the news are taking a little while to show up. Otherwise, everything is there for the fan.

I used to like hockey before I tried using this app.

I have goal horn switched on and it didnt go off when they made a goal whats wrong with it

Was super excited to pay only 25 dollars a month to watch live out of market games......except you blacked almost all of them out. So anyone who reads this and is considering paying for NHL tv monthly, dont its not worth the hassle.

Latest Update: Crashes constantly now, not even usable. Still a turtle to load only to crash when you click on a video, also constantly baits you to Watch Live for which you need a subscription. OK, Ill start with the good, a much improved look to the Stats and Standings. Bugs galore, inconsistent interface, slow resource hog, and our Team Apps are replaced with a circular loop to this poor excuse of an app. Beta testers should have found that the video clips in a game wont play but will nag you to buy NHL/Gamecenter Live while you can watch the same clip for free in the Video section. Clearly you just dont give a rats arse about the fans. I used to use this app, but now the taste of Buttman has become so overpowering I downgraded you to 1 Star. Old Title: Ads, Bugs, Gamecenter Live Nag, and No Cable Integration This app smells of Buttman, squeeze every last penny out of your fans then treat them like crap. The NHL gets money from Cable and Advertisers, who get money from us the customer and the Networks, who get money from Advertisers, and then Gary Buttman puts more Ads in the App! And for that you get buggy software that you cant see highlights in much less watch a game you already payed for without shelling out more money. Do I really need to say NO to the cursed Gamecenter Live nag every time I open the App? No means no, right? The App cant scroll to the bottom of the game write-up, how do you screw up scrolling? Notifications that dont show up in the News section? Maybe someone could write a decent app for Hockey fans and charge a couple of bucks. Of course Buttman would probably sue, he is an ambulance chaser.

Dont like how this app tracks your location at all times...most of all app crashes every 30 minutes... fix this garbage app

And unresponsive most of the time.
